I have soent 0 gold on them. /bonusitems rit staff for the monks.. pickup drops for others.. not hard.

Use drops, chest items, bonusitems, greens you don't use, collectors items, major runes, minor runes, cheap sup runes.

i usually center around 5 heros (Dunkoro, Talhkora, Master of Whispers, Norgu and Margrid the Sly) so i equip them with the better stuff, and occasionally ipick up soemthign good adn give it to the others

800G to make a mesmer into a sig tank.
I've had old greens for Koss, MoW, A Ranger(bunny thumper), other necro, and and probly a few other gold items that i can't all use all the same time.

Not expnsive so much for me just annoying to toss things in storage and get them out.

Heros don't cost that much at all. Each hero cost about 20-30k to make them perfect. Which is what 1 hour of farming?

personally i have about 20+ vigor runes saved up and people you dont have to have sup vigor its only 9 hp more i believe....

and you should farm some green gold prices arent going down either even thought you have the scarping ioption so if you dont like greens you might as well just mod your own gold ..but green are max in every stats and are cheaper..DONT BUY NF GREENS UNTIL ABOUT A MONTH INTO THE RELEASE PRICES FOR GREENS WILL AHVE DROPPED ANOTHER 20k!!!

One good cheap way to equip them with max decent weapons is to go to ToPK or Warcamp and say your buying unwanted golds 1k-3k each. As for insignias and runes, I see no other way to get them cheap. If I do equip heros, I equip the most versatile ones like warriors, elementalists and monks.

Or, treat them as extra storage and put ur offhands and weapons on them for when you need them later...

I am pretty sure its impossible to destroy hero armour so if this works and you wanted to give heros vigor, attunement , vitae runes etc it would be a lot cheaper. just move it from one char to another when you need to. Yep, I have salvaged runes and insignias off heroes and they always come out and the armor stays intact. So while the initial outlay in cost can be a bit of a pain you're guaranteed to keep the runes & insignias they have.
